Sublime song: whats that mean: “I got the deuce deuce.”?

From the song Garden Grove, where he sings “I got the deuce deuce in the trunk of my car”

I first thought it was a stereo system, but that didn’t sound right.
Then I thought that it probably meant a .22 gun, but thats a really low caliber gun and I’d think he’d be talking about a much bigger gun if he had one in his trunk.

Anyone else know what this might mean?

Where can I buy cheap old vinyl records?
