Garden Grove
Ellie asked:

I teach at the Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove, (Orange County) and I was wanting to take my kids to a waterpark but most won’t cover enough of the cost to take the kids to a waterpark. Do you know any places to take them for little or no charge? Or alternative places for 12-14yr olds?

How about a lake with a beach and life guards. There are a few in my area. There might be in yours. Call your county parks and recreation dept. They could guide you.

I am not sure as i live in Wisconsin. Here we have a few natural water parks. They are created along rivers, and are much cheaper than a regular water park. They are not as much fun, but they can be really interesting. If that is not an option, try a lake, River, or even a YMCA with an olympic sized swimming pool. Our YMCA has high dive boards and an inflatable slide that is alot of fun.
